The Sanctuary Treehouse is an incredible, unique lodging option. This off-grid space is nestled between two huge douglas fir trees overlooking beautiful Cobb Creek. It has a comfortable queen bed and an incredible birds-eye view of the world. There is a screened-in porch, bar seating for two, and a small outdoor deck. The views are stunning and this is an incredible spot for quiet reflection, connection with nature or for special time with a partner. Kids also love the space. The treehouse itself is at the top of our forested knoll, one of the sacred spaces on this property. Enjoy the path down to your own spot on the creek, take the chairs with you and spend the day by the water, or walk down the knoll to swim in the spring-fed pools.
The bathroom for the treehouse is a few minutes walk down in the campground. There are a variety of battery-operated lights in the treehouse and a charger for your devices.

This place is a true gem. Both the treehouse and the property it is located on will remain very special spots in our hearts. The local community is fantastic and was so welcoming of us. We're so grateful for our experience at the treehouse. We were able to connect to the present time, what a gift.

The treehouse is such an amazing retreat. It’s at the edge of the property so it feels like a serene private space, and the creek that runs below the treehouse provides a soothing soundtrack to your stay. I felt overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciative of the space (I loved the electric candles for mood lighting too). I hope to return!

To people who seek to rest and meditate on nature, this tree house is exactly what you need, to those of us who love nature I recommend it

This treehouse was perfect for a quick 2 night stay in Cobb. We loved sitting on the small deck overlooking the creek, and also loved walking down the cleated trail with stairs to our own private beach on the creek. Great glamping experience!

As others have noted below, this is one of the best places within a 2-4hr driving radius where one can truly escape and relax. What I did not expect, and totally appreciated, was the sound of the creek and the view of the stars at night from the balcony. It's quite isolated from the rest of the campground and it felt I was the only person around. It was liberating. There is no electricity in the treehouse but a charger was provided which was good enough to charge my iphone for 2 days. There is T-Mobile data connectivity but it's low. If you're coming here to disconnect, then that's perfect ;) I'm going to book this place in the future again and I highly recommend you do so as well!

We are connoisseurs of seclusion, and believe this to be the best place within 4 hours of SF to find that; totally separated from the road, other campers, and everything else other than trees, the creek and wildlife.
