Big Leaf is a serene one bedroom creekside cabin in the woods with an incredibly comfortable king sized bed, heater and air conditioner, clawfoot tub, outdoor shower, wood burning stove, full kitchen and a redwood deck overlooking the creek.
This is a lovely spot year round. In the warmer months, enjoy our spring-fed pools, creek walking just outside your back door and exploring the tranquil woods just up the hill. For a cozy winter retreat - cuddle up in front of the wood burning stove.
This beautiful space is perfect for a solo retreat, a romantic getaway or for a family with a small child.
All of our accommodations have basic staples, coffee, tea, oil & vinegar, salt & pepper. We are happy to share fresh eggs from our chickens when available. Kitchens are supplied with everything you need for basic simple cooking - pots & pans, utensils, cookie sheets, dishes, glasses, silverware, toaster, good knives, press pot for coffee, teapot, electric hot water kettle. Outside is a charcoal barbecue. We also have a kitchen lending library for special equipment, just ask if you need something and we'll supply it if we can.

We truly enjoyed the natural beauty, the fabulous tub and awesome hot water for a spa soak. The creek is lovely, and can be heard from the bedroom. The space was clean, nicely furnished, WiFi was perfect for accessing music. The kitchen was perfect for cooking all our meals...mmm and the fresh eggs! We will likely return for another relaxing getaway. Thanks again for the great hospitality!
This cabin is a gem! It exceeded all of our expectations. Surrounding woods are beyond beautiful with a lovely creek (our toddler spent her entire visit splashing in the creek) and a few easy trails. Inside, the cabin is impeccably clean. We loved the simple modern style - it looks like it was professionally decorated. We also really appreciated a super comfy bed with lux linens and high end cookware. As far as cabins in the woods go - this one is as lovely as it gets!
This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The cabin is perfect, not too fancy but still luxurious and cozy and has all the amenities you need. The campground is beautiful with the creek and the pizza oven and the trees. Cannot wait to go back!
The experience was great! We arrived and it started to snow for two days, the view was beautiful and the place was warm and clean. Taking a shower outside was amazing, the water was hot and you could hear the stream. I had assistance on starting the small fireplace which made the place more cozy. We would love to go back.
